“Should not be Missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

I have had the pleasure of dining with some friends. This is a landmark on the upper east side. I feel like I am at home and cannot say enough about the traditional service and the great quality of the food. This is a true taste of Italy and cannot wait until my next visit.

“a little of bit italy in new york”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

we had recently returned from two weeks in italy and were seeking to recreate the wonderful food and the atmosphere we had experienced in italy. We found it at quattro gatti. We sat outside on a quiet street surrounded by flowering trees. The service was excellent and our pasta dishes were excellent as well. The lobster ravioli special was outstanding.

“Low-key traditional Italian restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

I first went to this classic Italian restaurant thirty years ago and it hasn't changed very much at all. The staff are professional and knowledgeable about the menu which includes an antipasti buffet, delicious carpaccio e grana, homemade pasta and a range of specials. The wine list is sold and well-priced. Quiet and romantic, with sidewalk tables available when the weather is warm.
Some things never change, yum...

“Great Gem in the City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

Everything time we have friends in town we love to bring them to Quattro Gatti. The food is great and I love setting. The food is perfect portions and needed to wait for a table, but not a problem and wine was good. Will return!!

“Used to be good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

I don't know what happened to the food but it's not what it used to be. A real shame as we used to love this place. Kept trying it and the food never got back to what it used to be.
