Description: Pastis is a French bistro located in Manhattan's meatpacking district opened by Keith McNally. Executive Chef Pascal Le Seac'h prepares a menu that combines hearty Provencal dishes with moderately-priced bistro fare. The bar serves a range of house cocktails, wines by the glass, carafe or bottle, and several varieties of pastis, an anise-flavored aperitif from the south of France.

“Yummy!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2013

My boyfriend and I met a few friends here for brunch and we made reservations. Had no problems getting our table when we got there. Space is cramped but its NY. Staff very friendly and food was delicious. I had to use the bathroom and was waiting in line but I decided not to because the smell was just horrible. I know they are pretty busy but someone should at least check the bathroom every once in awhile. I was just happy that I already ate otherwise I would've lost my appetite and bypass the meal. Overall, enjoyed the food and would go back and would recommend this to anyone.

“frenchie noisy but a must”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

a Meatpacking must.
Loved the mussles. loved the drinks.
I think the menu is great and there´s a very cool atmosphere.
Noise is a problem, you need to shout to be able to have a conversation.
All the same, when planning where to go in the meetpacking I would go. Its a nice spot.

“Fabulous breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

I was abit worried about what the breakfast was going to be like due to quite a few negative reviews on tripadvisor - Im very very pleased that we went to Pastis ! the breakfast was absolutely amazing, very freshly prepared, amazing flavours, great coffee and service ! (however its not cheap, but i think its worth it)!

I cannot imagine how Pastis breakfast could possibly dissapoint anyone !

“Return To Pastis”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

I have been a regular visitor to Pastis for about 5 years and it never disappoints. While the food is good (sometimes very good!), a visit to Pastis is about the buzz and the atmosphere. A perfect place to spend a New York afternoon.
