“Great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

My husband and I went for lunch today. We were seated in the lower level which was beautiful and much more intimate than upstairs. Entering the restaurant you are greeted with wonderful smells of apples that lined the walls of the foyer. The waitstaff was very attentive and were not overbearing. We had the tasting menu and it was lovely. I would definitely recommend Bouley.

“Best meal ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Went with my wife for lunch on a snowy Friday on our weekend trip to New York and had the bargain 5 course taster menu..$55 - unbelievable value...this included breads (apparently if you give them 24 hrs notice they will make a bread of your choice!) amuse bouches x 2, and pre-main course and pre-desert, so about 9 courses all told. When we first went in we expected stuffy service, but it was so friendly, our waiter (all I remember is he comes from Illinois) was fantastic. Somehow it got into the conversation that it was my wife's birthday and along with the final pudding (we were stuffed by then) he brought a special plate with a caramel flan and happy birthday written in chocolate. You would struggle to find that type of service in a UK Michelin starred restaurant. Would definitely go back, again at lunchtime, partly because it is such great value, but also because it will take about 8 hours to stop feeling stuffed.

“The best restaurant in New York”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013 via mobile

I'll do it shortly, defenetly the best restaurant in New York and perhaps one of the best restaurants in the world. It is a very expensive place but the top end food, athmosphere and service makes you to want to pay even more.

“Number 1 for a reason”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

I can certainly see why Bouley now ranks number 1 on tripadvisor! It was an amazing dining experience. I felt as though I had stepped back into Paris. The food was out of this world delicious, and the service was impeccable. We were completely spoiled by the waiters. Bouley should have three Michelin stars!

“We haven't been disappointed yet”

The food, ambiance, service -- all great. The lunch menus offer an opportunity to sample David Bouley's cooking at a good price.
