“So Good We Had to Share”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2015 NEW

On a trip to NYC in December with my daughters, we discovered this little gem so we had to share it with 11 members of our family a few weeks ago pre-cruise. It didn't disappoint and it was as good the second time around. The wait staff are attentive, pleasant and helpful and the food is delicious. None of us had the same thing and we all raved about the main courses. The appetizers were also wonderful and although I don't eat mussels those that did said they were among the best they have ever eaten. It is a quaint restaurant that makes you feel like you could be eating in your own home. We love it and will be back again. Friends of ours are leaving on a cruise in a weeks time and have made reservations to eat there as well. I don't endorse a restaurant unless I am completely satisfied.

“Good but not GREAT food!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2015 NEW

Even reservations are not necessarily honored at this restaurant. Upon arriving at the restaurant on time for an 8:30 reservation, we were told that they were clearing the table and "it would be just a minute". And we were directed to wait "upstairs". Upstairs waiting area consisted of a bench against the staircase right next to the kitchen - where the waiters ran back and forth with plates. 20 minutes later we were seated after watching people come in and clearly without reservations. Food was good but definitely not a winning star.

“Fantastic appetizers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2015

The appetizers were delicious! I could make a meal of just them and a salad. I especially loved the mussels in sauce. Their bread was fantastic - especially dipped into the mussel sauce. Everyone else was lucky they got any. I was ready to hog it all. Meal was good but not up the appetizer standards. Service was excellent.

“Quaint and Authentic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2015

We stumbled upon this little hidden gem after perusing the area. We were promptly greeted for dinner and had the door opened for us as we climbed the stairs. It helped that this establishment has Italian speaking staff, as I too am Italian; made me feel like I was back in Rome having dinner. The first floor dining area is small but comfortable. Ambiance is soft and large window looks out to the AOA, across from the Hilton. Menus is simple and beautiful. Appetizers, pastas, meats, fish. There is also a lovely dessert menu. Service is courteous and prompt, very organized and all the staff are so lovely. We enjoyed a lovely meal and some great wine as well. Portions are the only area that need some work, could have been a little more substantial (at least for what we ordered and the accompanied price tag). Rather expensive but tasty. Overall an A-.

“Quaint Italian dinner place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2015

Stumbled onto this place while walking in Soho after an afternoon touring the 9/11 memorial. Small dining area with great service and homemade pasta.
