“A great place for dinner before events at the New York Public Radio Greene Space”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

We have attended a number of events at the Greene Space, New York Public Radio's live event space. This is a great place for a pre-event dinner. The food is very good and the waitstaff was very sensitive to our time constraints and handled the ordering, the serving and equally importantly, the settlement of the check with efficiency. At the same time the service was gracious and not brusk.

“Best Tiramisu Ever!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

We had a delicious meal at Mezzoglomo. Sat outside on a lovely warm night in October! I had the ravioli with walnut pesto. Really good. Hubby had the whole wheat vegetable pasta. Salad Tropical was delicious, too.

Best part was dessert. Excellent Tiramisu and it was huge! Perfect for two people. Lots of rich dark cocoa powder on top and the inside was creamy and smooth.

Service excellent.

Thanks, Mezzoglomo!

“Hidden Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

This place was fabulous. I was early for a reservation and was accommodated right away. The pasta is nothing like I've seen before. No question-- it was homemade. They were reassuring with food allergy requests and do not use butter like most modern Italian restaurants which is refreshing. If you don't love Italian you will after this place.. With the check they bring mini cookies. Ghost was filmed here. The neighborhood is not in the heart of the city which is nice.

“Bad Pasta”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

The place is great for people watching. I saw lots of beautiful models walking by.
The pasta was horrible. Worse than a gum. It's a total tourist trap. I don't understand how they can open so bad restaurants. In the same block there are similar places with hostess in the corners of the street hunting like vultures for clueless and starving tourists in Soho. The only good place around is the Aquagrill.
