“Fantastic find in Soho”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

Great little restaurant - dont be put off by the look of the venue or the prices (e.g. cheap!), the food is fantastic. After 5 days of eating stodgy foods (hot dogs, pizza etc - it is New York after all) eating here was pure goodness for the body. The miso salmon and brown rice was great, as was the hanger steak...and dinner for two, with drinks and a dessert to share for under $40 in NYC, pretty unusual. Highly recommend you seek this gem out.

“Great Miso Glazed Salmon for $10!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

This is a great choice for lunch. I work in the area and it was quick, simple and delicious. My mainstay is the Miso Glazed Salmon...and it's only $10! You can't beat that! It comes over a choice of brown or white rice and a salad with a ginger dressing. Worth getting extra dressing, it's not too heavy and tastes great on the salmon as well.

They only accept CASH so be aware of that before you go. You can eat in or take away and you can call in the order or have it delivered.

Great choice in SoHo.

“Simple, fresh food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2012

Our party of seven enjoyed a casual lunch at the Chelsea location. We ordered a few appetizers: edamame, spring rolls (tasty), peashoot dumplings (too chewy for my taste). Salad portions were very large, sandwiches tasty (I had the tofu bahn mi). Ingredients were fresh and light, great for a hot summer day. If you like spicy food, get some of the green hot/jalapeno sauce they offer on this side. Lemonades were yummy too. Service was attentive (the place was mostly empty). Atmosphere is like a diner, not fancy but comfortable.

“CAN"T COUNT THE TIMES I:VE EATEN HERE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2012

Great locations, near Penn Staion and on the edge of SOHO make this casual spot
the go-to place for me at lunch and dinner times. Nothing fancy, just good, well-spiced,
fresh, comfort foods, served without delay or fanfare. I almost always get the miso-glazed salmon, brown rice and salad with wasabi dressing. And it's $10.00. Thai steak salad is good too. You can't go wrong.
