Great 'sters, atmosphere, vibe and a super hospitable floor manager!! She went out of her way to accommodate our party with one mobility device.

“Oysters and Cocktails Very Good, Terrible King Crab!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2014

Had several dishes and then went next door to the fish market. Discovered they are the same owners, so if beer and wine are OK, go the fish market next door, save a bundle and enjoy the better quality. We ordered King Crab legs and they were just awful, super terrible! The Crab legs were watery, you could squeeze more water out of them than there was actual meat, super salty too. Not the way one of the most expensive seafood items is suppose to taste. I suspect that the King Crab Legs had been unfrozen and then re-frozen over and over thus effecting the texture and quality of the product. We only ate 1/4 the legs on our seafood tray, everything else was eaten, waited for them to ask how was our lunch or how why we didn't eat the legs...nothing....poor service and think they knew the legs were bad. Avoid.

“Delicious seafood experience ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

My husband and I were visiting NYC fRom the burbs, and decided to forgo fighting crowds and spending big money for a big name restaurant. So happy we decided to eat here- had a couple great cocktails and enjoyed amazingly delicious oysters, seafood soup, scallops, and hamachi collar. All were truly excellent, and the hamachi was like eating a fantastic piece of roast chicken- but better. Server was super responsive, friendly, and informative. Nice casual ambience.

“Favorite place for Sashimi and Maki!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

Absolutely love the very fresh sashimi and maki at Cull and Pistol. The salmon sashimi comes in thick and fresh pieces! Their brown rice salmon maki is my favourite too. Top it up with a Clam Chowder: my perfect meal! However, the only down side is that it is a tad pricey.

“Great oyster happy hour 4-6”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

Absolutely excellent for oyster happy hour! $1 any type of oyster you want. Super fresh and served up quick. We waited for about 20mins for a table in the bar area, which is tiny and the only area you can get $1 oyster hh. Boy was it worth the wait! We ordered 24 oysters- almost 2 of everything they had to try and pass judgement for ourselves. You check off what you want on a piece of paper and you can use that to determine what you are eating and keep track of which ones you like for next time. A good solution to if they are too busy, try and get there at 4 when it starts, is to go next door to lobster place and get them from the raw bar for slightly more cost. Just as yummy!
