This hotel was very modern and clean, but the rooms were VERY small!!!! I understand things are pricey in New York, but this hotel seemed to be a bit of a rip off. The room was VERY Small and the bill was VERY big! The breakfast I felt could have been better. They should offer a hot breakfast instead of a continental breakfast. There was only one ice machine for the entire hotel and it was located in the cellar. There were windows in the bathroom that you had to close the blinds or all of the neighborhood would see you showering!!!! There was zero sound proofing as you could hear everything people said in the hallways, the elevator dinging opening and closing, and doors slamming. This took place all hours of the night. There was no parking available, not even to unload your bags. We had to have the staff block a space for us to load our car upon check out. A few positives, some of those were the staff. They were very nice and cordial. In fact if not for Anthony and Lena buying our subway passes from us, we would have lost over $40 in those passes because the subway staff refused to refund money on the metrocard. I guess that depends on a persons idea of close. We felt that we were staying in the heart of an Asian country and we only found Little Italy as we were leaving. Please DO NOT misunderstand me. I am not racist in any way shape of form, but the only places to eat were predominantly Asian food and forgive me for not wanting to eat Asian food for breakfast. This hotel was not at all what we expected, but the elevator was cool!
All the rooms are tiny but clean, but if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs because it is VERY...
