Went to the bistro on the 22nd March and at the end of the meal was presented with another table's bill. The waiter then bought our bill over which we duly paid and I specifically asked if he had charged the other table's bill to me credit card, he replied that he had, but had since cancelled the payment.
When my credit card bill arrived I had in fact paid for the other table's meal. Despite several phonecalls to the hotel who eventually acknowledged the fault was with them - although they never called back as promised to notify me of this. They also assured they would credit my account which they haven't done, so my bank are now pursuing them.
Given that this was their mistake I feel the customer service I have received has been appalling which is a shame as the emal we had was really very good.
