“What a find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

It is not often that I see somewhere I feel I must visit "whatever" but my wife and I were staying at The Pearl Hotel, next door but one and passed Lillie's on our way out to dine. As we passed we were "wowed" by the overall visual impact, stained glass, clocks, statues, busts small balconies, paintings.....just words.....see their website http://timessquare.lilliesnyc.com Whilst we stared in the window and admired, in typical NY fashion a chap outside either phoning or smoking said "Yeh and they serve alcohol too"!

After dining we returned to this haven of delight, apparently the second longest bar in NY, a great buzz, not too loud and real fun. Then there was dear Gloriana, the chatty, friendly young dynamo that virtually ran the whole bar single handed and still found time to chat. What great company! She encouraged us (we didn't need any!) to return the following evening after the opera for a light snack and drink. We did, the welcome and recognition was if were were permanent residents, the food is excellent in all respects and the pricing very reasonable.

Two fabulous and enjoyable evenings, IF ONLY we lived locally, we could become hooked!

“A visual feast ... and the food is great, too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

We had walked past Lillie's on our way to the Chicago matinee. After Kinky Boots that evening, we went back simply because of the decor we spotted through the window. The place is AMAZING!!
They had "Soul Sundays" when we went - free cover from 10pm - 1am, and the band was also incredible. The female lead in the band sounded exactly like Jill Scott.
The food was also great. Kinda high-toned bar food, but very good, and nicely plated. I had the macaroni and cheese with bacon, ($12) and my partner had the Scallops ($18). The staff was incredibly attentive, the prices were great, and the drinks were stout! Such a great little gem in the heart of Broadway - you gotta try it out before or after a show!

“Great brunch venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

The atmosphere is fun. The brunch menu is extensive and at $16 for eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and a spicy Bloody Mary it is a great value.

“Good Lunch Spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

After walking round the shops of NY for several hours this place was the perfect pit stop to refuel. The service was really good, as was the food. The high decorative ceilings and walls are pretty impressive. There were tables of couples plus business meetings going on, so caters for all needs.
