Stay would have been pleasant if it wasn't for the staff. Booked a double room online for 3 nights - was told over email that double room only available for first 2 nights and last night would we mind transferring to a twin room. Replied sure thing, but if a double room becomes available could we transfer to that? Told not a problem. Seems simple right?
Checked in and were told that a double room was available for the last night, so were happy about that. Later on, one of the staff members came up, knocked on our door and told us that we had a double booking for the third night - we were booked into both a double room and a twin room, but some people had walked in off the street so we wouldn't be charged for the twin room. WTF!?!!! Had argument with clerk saying were would not have paid for a second room anyway and that someone had screwed up the booking. Was accused of hitting the submit button on internet booking site twice. Explained that obviously someone had forgotten to delete the twin room booking when the double room became available for the 3rd night AND showed him the email correspondence. Still no comprehension from the clerk. Complained to manager the next day about stupidity of staff. Manager would not apologise for the screw-up and suggested it was our fault somehow.
The room itself was decent sized and had air-con and a TV. Free breakfast a bonus, but get in early.
