“Avenue Q!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

A must see - so fun and a great underground (literally!) theater!! Also, Peter & the Starcatcher is playing there - a great show! There is a cute restaurant with great outdoor seating just behind the theater!

“One of the best theater venues”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

I love seeing shows at New World Stages. I've seen Voca People (AMAZING!) and Bare (also amazing). The seating is stadium style so you ALWAYS have a view of the stage with no possibility of having someones head in the way. Less expensive than Broadway, always a great seat and always a great show. I highly suggest seeing shows here.

“Hilarious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

The venue looks incredibly small from the outside, and was a bit harder to find because of this, but after you head down the stairs it's a massive theatre. Custom drinks for the show were available, as well as a few other alcoholic beverages and soda. The decoration scheme was kitschy but fun, with a wall full of guest signatures available if you wanted to leave your mark there.

Avenue Q was hilarious, and kept relevant. We were very surprised to find that all the music was done live by a pair of musicians in a back room, and that the cast was so few people. All of them are incredibly talented actors and puppeteers. I would definitely recommend this for anyone, it's like Sesame Street for adults!

“Avenue Q as much fun the second time around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

Saw Avenue Q last year and had no idea what to expect. Like everyone else, we had a great time and found it to be very clever with catchy tunes. My son came home, learned the songs and the voices, saw a local production, and couldn't wait to see it again this year. Discount tickets in Times Square day of. Expect to laugh out loud :)

“Avenue Q”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

I took my 14yr old son to see this and it was hilarious. It is "off Broadway" but didn't feel tired. The venue itself it has 4 or 5 shows on at any one time. The staff were lovely and although this show can be a little embarrassing it is just soooo funny.
