For $500+/night I'd expect a more ship-shape room, especially in the Premier Tower, which I was told was "more luxury." TV barely worked, looked like SD. Couldn't even get a solid signal for ESPN for Monday Night Football. A little rough around the edges infrastructure wise, for example grout and paint job in bathroom has seen better days. Bed comfortable, though, and room was very large for NYC.
Breakfast was continental, similar bagels to a $150/night Holiday Inn, if you ask me. Premier lobby cold and a bit unwelcoming. Seems like a private lobby perhaps for serviced apartments? Actual Millennium lobby next door. I image the Marriott Marquis around the corner, for instance, might be a bit more up-to-date and polished, something to expect at this price point.
