A winner. By now if you're a little OCD like me, and obsessively read reviews, you know the story...enter through a pawn shop blah blah blah. I will spare you and give you the low-down on the meal. Had reservations on a Friday at 8:15 and got seated right away so we went to the bar afterward. Unlike others, I didn't think our table was excessively close to our neighbors...it's to be expected at NYC. And yes, it's loud and buzzy atmosphere. Not the best for 'intimate date night'. we had amazing Lobster mac and cheese, bone marrow with fig (awesome), lobster tacoes (so crisp and delicious, probably my favorite) and perfect Kale salad with apples. Emerald gimlet pretty neat but a little too much basil for my taste. I was a little (mildly) disappointed with the butterscotch dessert but I had probably hyped it up too much. Loved it overall and upstairs went to have a glass of bubbly with DH, very clubby atmosphere and felt more and more Las Vegas (in a good , clubby way) as night went on. Yes, champagne in the ladies room, but I entered alone so I didn't hang out like I saw other ladies doing. There seemed to be a cohort of women on the couches judging everyone's fashion, which was a little annoying. All servers and bathroom attendants were perfect, super nice. Come here for trendy and surprisingly good food.
