Really humbling to wander here for an hour or so. A must see if you have the chance. Don't forget to visit the saint Paul's chappel outside this memorial.

“Ground Zero”

I was here two years ago and a lot has changed, the new building is just about finished and the ponds where the two buildings stood quite a statement. Lovely to see but very humbling to remember why!

“A place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

We went there in an morning (10am)-not many people so we had good access to the pools and it wasn't very crowded. Not much to see, but it is lovely tribute to all those who lost their lives.

“Humbling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

Im a right chatterbox normally but i was speechless going to this memorial/ center. Its overwhelming seeing the ponds and realising the sheer physical appearance of the towers that previously where there. All of the names of the victims are round the outside of each pool and a rose is inserted into the name of those whom birthdays are on that day, that doesnt half make you feel grateful for what you have. I wanted to go to the 9/11 Tribute Center but i knew i would be a blubbering mess as i was very emotional at Ground Zero.

Very moving tribute to all who lost their lives in the 9/11 tragedies of 2001. Lovely place to reflect and think about things. Well worth a visit. It's free to visit, but a donation would be gratefully appreciated.
