A very moving and apt experiance, we need to remember the sadness of this horific event, so as not to allow its repetition,

Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. Very emotional while visiting the memorial, but highly recommended the importance of seeing it.

“Thought provoking, emotional and a must!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

You have to pre book tickets and time slots for this even though it is free. Great idea as it is so popular it keeps the crowds in some sort of order. Strict security going in and the security staff when we went were certainly a bit stresses! Nothing however takes away from seeing the 2 acre memorial ponds built in the footings of the towers. Names of those who lost their life written around the edge all arranged by friendship and bonds rather than alphabetical. Also the survivors tree, quite simply amazing. The staff once inside go out of their way to help you, inform share stories and help with photos. 10 / 10 !!
