Spoiler alert: the winning joke is "I've got maggots in my scrotum". If you love South Park, rank humor (long running joke about trying to f*** the baby to try to get rid of AIDS; solved with a frog) and the thrill of the F-word said on a Broadway stage, then go for it. There is shock value, and the singing and dancing (one number all about dysentery -- "shitting in the water, drinking the water") are very well done even if the content is just plain stupid. I am not religious, so that part wasn't offensive or compelling -- sort of an interesting context -- but the rank language and bathroom humor as entertainment value on their own...eh, don't get it. But I realize that we are a very small minority, given the rave reviews and Tony awards.
