“Nothing like it!! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014

I had the great fortune to stay at the Ritz Carlton Central Park with my wife for a little "stay-cation". There is no hotel quite like the Ritz Central Park. While the views of the Park were amazing and staying at a hotel with the USA Basketball Team was very cool, the service and care that each member of the Hotel Staff put into make your experience extraordinary is what makes this Hotel a "must visit". Everyone from Jenny to Ashley to See et al were amazing and we are so appreciative.

We cant wait until we come back again.

Room Tip: Try to get a high level room with a view of the park. The view is incredible.

The staff make this hotel one of the finest I have ever stayed in, nothing was too much trouble. We checked in early and we're rewarded with a room on the 22nd floor - outstanding view!
Our room was well equipped and spacious. Room service breakfast was perfect.
The location was ideal for accessing all areas of central NY with great shopping easily accessible!
Hope to return

This was a memorable trip. We were celebrating my 50th Birthday, and our 24th Wedding Anniversary. The Hotel made us feel special by upgrading our room, providing us with a bottle of champagne, and chocolate-dipped strawberries on arrival - all with a park view room. Wow!

Understated elegance sums up this hotel, without stuffiness. (I did see some very strange outfit choices in the lobby lounge, but they were of the teenage kind!) It was the guys on the door in the morning who greeted us by name (who told them?) who made us feel very cared for. They were only opening the door for us, but it seemed that we mattered.

The cocktails in the bar are seriously strong, the breakfast is yummy, and the ambiance is such that anyone could feel at home there. We would definitely go back - and are planning already!

Room Tip: We had a park-view low room (3rd Floor) but it was very quiet.

From the doorman to the General Manger, everyone made us feel very welcome. Great location, south side of Central Park. Walking distance to everything. Ate lunch and breakfast at Auden - food was delicious each time. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My wife arranged a birthday weekend in NYC at the Central Park Ritz and loved it. We had a deluxe suite with two baths facing central park. Not cheap of course but it was a summer special that included one night free. The room was super clean and the service was excellent. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate and you feel like royalty but without the stuffiness. We had Club access and also had late night drinks at the Star Lounge. All reflected the same level of attentiveness. This was our second stay here and we look forward to returning.

Room Tip: If you can do it, go for a suite with Park View.

Oh wow!!! What a wonderful experience. I love New York anyway so I am slightly biased but there are no words to highlight how amazing this hotel is. Expensive yes but you get exactly what you pay for. Entire New York experience was second to none, I have already booked for December see you then guys.

Many people say when traveling to big cities where you stay isn't that important. While it's true that you are not at the hotel like you would be at a resort location staying at the RCCP made our great trip to NYC perfect. We were traveling with our children ages 7 and 8 and from the moment we arrived the hotel staff made us feel like we had stated there 100 times. Service was amazing and while I could note multiple examples, one moment sticks out in my mind. I went downstairs to the front desk one am and mentioned that I needed some cold medicine for my wife. After a full day in the city we arrived back at the hotel. 10 minutes after we arrived back into our suite the staff delivered chicken soup with a handwritten note for my wife telling her that she hoped she felt better. Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, awesome club level amazing staff. We are from savannah, ga (voted the second friendliest city in the country) so we know a thing or two about it! Everyone working in this hotel was genuinely kind and eager to meet your every need. Our kids still talk about Victor to this day and they even made bracelets for him. Don't think just book it and enjoy!
