“Perfect balance of hip and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2009

Friendly and helpful staff make all the difference (thank you Felix and Alchemy). Hip hotels can often be a bit too "cool", but this hotel gets the balance just right. Lovely room, and really excellent bathroom. My only niggle is with the lighting, which isn't at the level of sophistication of all the other elements of design - more control, greater lux levels would be an improvement. Was only there for two nights but would have been happy and comfortable staying longer.

Stayed in a Junior Suite with view over the Park. Great room, fabulous bathroom, perfect location (quiet but still in heart of nyc). Didn't try breakfast (too expensive), didn't try restaurant. Free Wifi access in the Bryant Park just across the street (can even catch that wifi in the hotel where wifi is not free).
Simple but efficient service.
Go for it.
For sure, will return.

I've been staying the The Bryant Park at least once a month for over two years. If you're looking for an excellent, luxury, boutique hotel in a great location in Manhattan the Bryant Park can't be beat. From the reservation process to the wonderful service during my stays - every step of the way is a pleasure. Christopher in reservations has become a great resource for me in finding the right room and even helping with other hotel choices should the BP be sold-out. I typically stay in one of their Raymond Hood Suites which are spacious and have wonderful outdoor terrace space. I've stayed at dozens of hotels throughout Manhattan and always return to the Bryant Park. It's fun, located near everything, not stuffy but still classy and luxurious.

Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful. From the doorman to the hotel managers, from the moment we entered until we finally left, we had perfect service everywhere in the hotel. We had a great wedding day event thanks to all at the Bryant Park Hotel!

The front of house staff were very welcoming and accomodated our party for an early check in. The room and bathroom were a really good size for New York.
The location was excellent, even although we didn't have a park view. All staff were extremely helpful and treated you with respect.
One of the rooms we had,had a water overflow from the shower, but I managed to scrunch up the bath mat to stop the floor from getting very wet. Also,I don't know the poor staff deal with that incessant pretend 'Ibiza' soundtrack that pervaded the lobby and the lifts.I would definitely stay there again.

Our room, which looked over Bryant Park from the 23rd floor, was incredibly beautiful and spacious. The two balconies and huge windows were serious highlights. I also spent quite a bit of time in the giant bathtub. The staff were friendly and helpful, got us cabs and fetched ice, etc. We especially enjoyed free happy hour at the Cellar Bar, which possibly has the best margarita on the planet. The location was perfect - we spent most of our weekend in and around Times Square, and this hotel was convenient, but still slightly removed from the touristy craziness.
