“Bryant Park has it all! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

We highly recommend the Bryant Park Hotel because it more than exceeds the requirements for a perfect hotel in NY- great rooms, excellent service and a convenient location. The super clean rooms feature high ceilings, upscale, uncluttered decor and excellent amenities. Every staff member exhibits a friendly demeanor and is genuinely happy to assist in any way. The hotel is a short walk to many popular areas of the city and is across from Bryant Park which is a lovely oasis in the city offering a variety of interesting activities year around. We look forward to our next stay!

Our stay at The Bryant Park Hotel was wonderful and was among our best trip to NYC that we have ever had for many reasons. For starters, we were warmly greeted with cheerful smiles from the doorman to front desk to the concierge immediately upon arrival. The room was spacious and immaculate. The bathroom has a huge tub and a walk-in shower that had a lovely spray and done in sandstone that was chic and professional. From the big towels, robes and slippers it was all super soft and comfortable. Our view overlooked Bryant Park and we had a king room suite that included a couch, desk, Bose sound system and all the amenities that you could want. The one thing that is most impressive was the service and care that we were given. Everyone was super professional, kind and helpful. Nicole was the best at the front desk and Sara is an amazing concierge. She set us up for a steak/seafood dinner at Benjamin, clubbing for the older crown (all within walking distance) with passes and even looked up wine bars for us to visit and research as we offhandedly discussed our upcoming wine tasting room opening. She did this all on her own without us even asking! The doormen (Luis and Kevin) were fantastic and treated us with great care. The fantastic location was the initial reason for the reservation the service and love we were shown will be the reason for coming back again and again.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of Bryant Park.

Loved the style and location. It's pricey, but it's New York, so there you are. The staff was excellent, very friendly. Will definitely return. Enjoyed watching the skating in the park, and toured the Public Library - wow! That's a must see.

I am very happy to hear that you had a great stay and that one of the highlights was ice-skating in the park. We are so fortunate to have the park right across the street from us and I am glad that you took full advantage of it. You must return during the summer months, every Monday is movie night in the park and on Thursdays is Broadway in the Park for lunch. dsumner@bryantparkhotel.com

One of the best rooms and locations in NYC. John at front desk and bellmen Miguel and Steven were all so thoughtful and caring and took such great care of us. For visiting midtown attractions you can't beat the location. You won't be disappointed.

I stayed at Bryant Park Hotel saturday in a junior king suite. I was extremely impressed with the customer service that I received here. Nikki at the front desk was very pleasant and got me the suite on early checkin. Jenn the concierge was also very pleasant and gave me some great suggestions on nightclubs to visit and souvenirs to buy. As for the room itself, the bed was ultra comfy. What I really liked was the shower. It had very strong water pressure which in my world travels has been a rare thing. Some business associates came by and we hit up the hotel's nightclub called Cellar Bar before hitting the town. The music was great and it was super easy getting in but it was really crowded and hard to get drinks (basically everywhere in NYC on a Sat night). As for the location, there's some good, cheap restaurants on the same block and the metro stop is close by. Times Square is a few minutes walk away. The wifi was super easy to get into (no password needed) and was fast/reliable. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in NYC!

Thank you for giving us a 5 and for your praises regarding Nikki and Jennifer, I couldn’t wait to show them your review. The Cellar Bar staff was also very happy to see that they were mentioned. It sounds like you had a great time in NY and I am glad that we were able to help create some wonderful memories. I hope during your next visit to NY you will stay with us again. The Bryant Park Hotel overlooks the park and is a couple of blocks away from Time Square, making it a wonderfully central place to explore New York. Staff were friendly, and the happy hour of free drinks for guests every Friday from 5-6pm was a welcome surprise and a nice touch.

We went with the deluxe room with city view and really could not believe our luck. Whilst the room was beautiful minimalistic and clean, the balcony view overlooking the park and skyscrapers pushed the whole experience into a different league, especially when taking into account the reasonable price per night. Fittings in the room were good quality, although there did appear to be a bit of a drainage problem with both the toilet and the bath. Molton Brown products went down well, and highlighted the attention to detail and luxury market the hotel caters towards.

This hotel would definitely be one of, if not our top choice when we come to New York again. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Plump for a room with a balcony - you will not be disappointed

So glad you enjoyed the balcony, we have just a few of them but I agree they are amazing! Thank you for giving us a 5 and for your great praises about the staff. It sounds like you had a great stay and even took advantage of the complimentary open bar. My apologies for the drainage issue, I am happy to hear that it did not have a negative impact on your stay. Please let me know when you are returning, we would love to have you back. dsumner@bryantparkhotel.com

Smoothly professional staff from front desk to security, with quiet sleek modern design room with full amenities, incredible view overlooking Bryant Park - not requested but much appreciated, and free valet parking - unheard of in NYC. Repeat visits have all been fantastic. Great location, the rare retreat in a crazy busy town.

Room Tip: Ask to face the park.
