“book at a different hotel!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

The room was the smallest I ever seen. We were two people in a "double room" but only one of us could move at a time!
They write they have Wi-Fi but the connection is actually really low so we had to move between Starbucks for some internet.
They didn't give us a proper blanket until we specifically requested one.
although the hotel is in Manhattan it is really close to anything.
We regretted staying at this hotel.

No assistance, no help to carry bags. The room is ridiculously tiny, with one double bed and no room for two people to walk around. No place to put your clothes: no dresser, no closet, only a metal bar with two hangers. The bathroom inadequate, too, no place to put anything.
It's one thing to advertise your hotel as 'no frills' if it is value for money. This hotel is in a good neighborhood in NYC and we spent $500 for two nights and received very poor value.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is a practical hotel, nothing fancy, but clean and well-located. I've never seen narrower hallways or a smaller room, but the room was clean and had no odor issues. The bed was reasonably comfortable. I could open the window for air. The only negative I can think of is that, with no carpeting in the hallway, noise is an issue. Cleaning staff sounded like they were yelling to each other and banging things. But who really spends time in their room when in NYC? The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, away from the tourist nightmare of Midtown. A nice walk down Broadway or a hop on the adjacent subway will get you wherever you want to go.

Room Tip: If you have agility issues and plan to share a bed, be aware that some beds are pushed into the corn...

Very clean for a moderate priced room. Great location. Very small rooms. It's only a place to
to sleep and shower. Very Spartan but functional and convenient. If you must be in NYC and
your not rich, this place will do the job nicely. Management and staff really try hard.

It´s a very small hotel, located from a walking distance of the Central Park and the Museum of Natural History, and it also has a subway station close, that in 15 minutes takes you to Times Square and the main attractions of Manhattan. Around the hotel you can find a Starbucks, a walgreens, that is very useful. It is located in a nice neighborhood, and around the hotel there are some nice restaurants and bars with latin and dominican republic food. It has free wifi, and has two computers that charges US$5.00 per 10 minutes in Internet. The rooms are very small, but clean. The only thing I didn´t like is that we need to take a taxi to the airport, they don´t get yellow cabs, and the cost is US$60.00 and tip (optional). It is like a line of taxis for executives, but when we got to the airport, the driver asked us for US$65.00 and a obligatory amount of tip....So, if you need to go to Manhattan, looking for a room to sleep, this is it...because it´s cheaper than the hotels in Manhattan..The people in the front desk are not very nice, though...

Great location just off Broadway with an underground station one block away. Functional place but really tiny rooms, with even tinier bathrooms and a closet good for a couple of shirts. Expect no views of amenities, but it suffices as a place to sleep.

spent one night last week at this hotel with my gf.

the room is tiny and basically just has space for the bed which was comfortable.

bathroom is tiny and there is no room for 2 people at the same time.

view was a brickwall of the hous next door.

however this is nyc and the room is clean and had no complaints. tv has enough channels and i liked that there was a wood floor instead of a dirty carpet.

location is great whit it being just one block away from a subway station.
