We were in room 822 and was very happy after reading all the reviews. The furniture is a little bit dated but the room was clean, beds were comtable and sheets were changed daily. The staff were very helpful and location excellent. We would stay at this hotel again

I arrived the night of my birthday. Nothing! I stayed there twice, first at the beginning of february and then 3 days in the middle of the month. This time the check in lasted one hour! all the american kennel club dogs were preferred to other guests!!!!! no special counter for passengers without pets! Room with old walls, old carpets, old bathroom with leaks, heat had to be asked for and when it started it was really noisy, old as it was.....
I payed an average price of 110 us plus tax, that´s not a gift, or is it?
the room service employees show up any time so it happens that I came back at 2 pm after leaving the room at 9 am, and it was still unmade.... the front desk staff is not friendly at all as if they don´t care if the client feels ok at the hotel.....the lobby is more a gallery than a lobby, the wifi costs 5 us 20 minutes and it belongs to an outsourcer provider, so nobody takes responsiblity of the failures, (I lost my money because the printer didn´t function) the local telephone connections are also charged.....the check-in is really late, at 3pm....the lady in the coffee store located at the end of the lobby was nice (although she´s not an hotel employee) called a bell boy to take my lugagge to a taxi when I left, and ....the list of inefficiency continues...
I was forced to overlook everything as I had prepaid my stay.....but ....no more!
Go only in case of extreme need!!!!!
P.S the matress of the bed was good!!!! Or New York so exciting I forgot all complaints!

It's really expensive for the type of stay we had. Bring shower shoes because the shower is disgusting, there were fruit flies swarmind around and the water was barely luke warm. The paint is peeling and housekeeping kept trying to let her self in several time while we were sleeping. To top it all off the HUGE RAT that shared a room with us was a NEGATIVE.

we have just arrived home from a great 4 day trip to new york and this review is honest and with no bull as iv seen in past reviews of this hotel.i paid a low rate to stay in this hotel so i didnt expect much,the location is the best in town and everything is so close.lobby is very nice and check in was quick.when we got to the room i was shocked to see mould on the wall, this isnt right no matter what price we pay.it wouldnt take much to paint over any marks o the wall either.shower looked dated and dirty but done the job.window didnt but the tv worked.there is a great bar around the corner its called the blarney rock its great for food and drinks the owner is a top man and very friendly.all in all stay here and enjoy new york but accept old wore rooms and dodgy fittings,
