We live on West street and because of Sandy we were evacuated from our home. My new home away from home will surely be "The Times Square Hilton" from Kenny the bellman to Susan the restaurant manager, Chad front desk manager, Rich, Chris, Raquel, Jazmin, Renee the Concierge and what would we do without Marvin! The other front desk man I believe his name was Safat told us we had no reservation! I was so upset having no where to go and the family and dog on there way, I was in tears then Marvin looked up my name and found it! I quickly had a smile on my face, I could have a hot shower. Our chow chow dog Tennessee is now the mascot of The Times Square Hilton. I might not have mentioned everybody at the Hotel. We want to thank each and everyone of you for making us all so comfortable. This is the only hotel that I will recommend for now on in New York. The staff deserves acknowledgement for the way they make there guests feel. Like members of there family. Tennessee sends you a "woof". We are now in our home with heat, lights, electric and water, missing Time warner- I think will drop by the lobby for some internet! Thanks again. The Alony Family (Room 2504) Our home away from home for 2 weeks thta were made awsome by all of you!

Room Tip: All rooms are great!

This hotel hit the mark on what I was looking for on a recent five-day trip to New York - Prime location, good size rooms and lots of food options. Prices were comparable to any of the large hotel chains in the area, the hotel has been tastefully updated and the rooms are decorated very nicely.

This Hilton is located right in the Times Square area and is next door to Madame Tussauds, Ripley's Believe It or Not and other attractions. There is a Starbucks right across the street, lots of movie theaters and Broadway theatres are only one block over. The MTR Subway in any direction is literally just steps away and there are tons of restaurant choices within a two-block radius as well as great in-room restaurant service, which I took advantage of every morning. My room was clean on arrival and the maids did a great job every day. There is also an Applebee’s restaurant attached to the hotel at street level.

So, those are the positives. The following is not necessarily a negative, but should be considered constructive feedback:

The entrance to the hotel is bit confusing as you enter from either of 42nd street or 41st street and go into a street level hallway with a porter stand across from two elevators, but the fact that you have to go up in the elevator to get to the hotel lobby to check-in isn’t very well marked and the porters were always congregated at the stand talking to themselves with their backs turned, so when I first got there I felt like I was interrupting them to ask where the check-in desk was as I wasn’t completely sure I was in the right location. I would add a big Hilton logo next to the elevators and have a sign pointing upstairs for hotel check-in. All they had for signage was stand holding a 10” x 12” paper with a lot of verbiage saying you had to show your room key to use the elevator or call the guest you were visiting so they could come down to get you, which wasn’t a warm fuzzy to welcome to newly arriving guests. Why not do what most urban hotel do an only have the elevator go to the lobby floor without a room key you insert?

Because of the hurricane Sandy our Hotel was closed and with short notice we got in at Hotel Hilton Times Square, our reason for travelling to NY this weekend was for the Marathon. When we landed at JFK we were told the Marathon was canceled and we were really disappointment but any way we planned to continue our trip and have really fun in NY. Peter in the reception at Hilton Garden gets our biggest complement of all people we meet in NY. He really served and helped us to make our trip extremely good. Hotel Hilton you are really lucky with all your staff, give them 5*. You are the best because of them:)

We just spent a long weekend at the Hilton Times Square. We were in a corner King Room and really enjoyed the extra space. As others have noted, this hotel is conveniently located to the shows and restaurants of Times Square. The hotel is surprisingly quiet, despite being so close to everything.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff at the front desk, at the bar, and at breakfast were professional and courteous. We'll definitely be back!

The only suggestion for the hotel is that they need to update their wi-fi policies --- $13.99 for inroom wi-fi is old school for a modern hotel, especially when they are charging per device.

Just stayed here for 4 nights. Picked the property due to proximity to meetings I was attending and because I am a Hilton Honors gold member. I had reserved a king corner hypoallergenic room but was put in a king deluxe on the 39th floor, with the desk clerk claiming it would be a bigger room. I do not believe that was true plus we then had a lesser view. The room was okay, clean and reasonably comfortable. Room service breakfast was prompt and hot although inconsistent. Food eaten in the bar area was mediocre...salad had brown lettuce. I would also note that the in room mouthwash does not come in a sealed container. Did not use it for that reason. For over $400 per night, I would not stay there again. (Also did not like being in the midst of the craziness that is Times Square.)

Irena at the front desk service does a great job ! She is very helpful, always available and helpful. With her suggestions & advises any problem can be solved. She finds the best solutions to fullfil each request, has always a nice smile sticked on her face compared to some other employees working there too.
