I stayed in the Mont Morris for a week in June. First of all the contact with Georgia and the help that she gave me throughout the booking process was first class. She answered any questions I had and even upgraded me to a room with a fridge at no extra charge. I stayed in the main building so didn't have to walk to breakfast which was nice. The breakfast was great, fresh yoghurt, muffins, pastries, bread and coffee etc. More than enough to set you up for the day. My bedroom was great too - I had a four poster bed and my room was very spacious as was the en-suite. As for the area, well some people may have trepidation about staying in Harlem, but I happen to love the area. I've stayed in Harlem before and have found it perfectly safe at whatever time of the day. I came back to the B&B at 3am once and it was perfectly safe. The area that Mont Morris is on is residential and very quiet. I chose to get the subway from 116th St most days, which is just a quick 5min walk away. I would thoroughly recommend Mont Morris to anyone who would like to get out of the hustle and bustle of say, a hotel in midtown. It's a great place and I'd definitely stay again.
