“Mission Control”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013 via mobile

The gentlemen at mission control were SUPER helpful I believe their names were Alex and Shane. Although the rooms or should I say "cabins" were tiny those 2 definitely made staying there joyful. I'll be back this summer!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was suggested to stay there by a conference organizer, and had a conference rate, but the whole experience was awesome. I highly recommend it, and I would stay there again. The clientele clearly skews toward a younger crowd, but the rooms were quiet...no complaints at all.

Room Tip: Highly recommended. If the location works for you, then look no further.

I had a wonderful stay at Yotel. The hotel had excellent service and responded to requests immediately. The hotel's location was perfect. The VIP suite was perfect. The terrace was beautiful. It was lovely coming in from the Hottub into a warm room, due to the newly lit fireplace.

I was disappointed in the YOTEL. I did not care for the automated check in, I'd rather be checked in by a real live person and not have to do the work myself at a computer while the employees stand around not working. The rooms were tiny! The bed was TERRIBLE! I actually had back pain from sleeping on this uncomfortable mattress. I do NOT recommend this hotel. The lobby, and the rooftop bar are nice, but the rooms were just way too small and the bed was horrible. You can stay at a much better hotel for less money.

Excellent!!!! Even though I live in the New York area I was celebrating my birthday in Times Square, so I choose to rent a Hotel in the area. I stayed in the VIP Suite It was exactly as it appeared on the web site, very spacious and super chic, the dinning table that converted into a pool table was so much fun for me and my guest. All though some of my friends that stayed in the other cabins stated that they were very small. 10 minute walk to Times Square, staff was excellent, The Gally was great. The whole experience was well worth it.

Hotel room was ultramodern and very small. New construction with euro modern shower and furniture. Unfortunately had a room on 10th avenue that was noisy and after automated check in was not sure who to talk to to try and change it. Sassy vibe with quirky sayings on the wall in the restaurant area. Free coffee and muffin in the morning. Would stay again if I could get a room with less street noise.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for a room not facing on the busy streets.

Green Features: Use shower gel and shampoo in dispensers so not wasting many small bottles for that purpose.

I stayed at this hotel last week while attending a conference at the nearby Javits Center.

Being a techie the whole hotel concept sounded great and I must admit I got a kick out of the automated check in service. However the fun stopped there, the rooms (known as cabins) are very small. To save some space the bed was nothing more than an upgraded couch which pulls out into a bed with a touch of a button. Unfortunately this was very uncomfortable and I hardly slept at night.

The employees at the hotels seemed disinterested and where quick to pass the buck to one of their colleagues if you asked them a question or had an enquiry.

When it came time to check out I couldn't do the automated check out and had to ask for some help. Unfortunately something happened with their system and it wouldn't allow them to print my receipt. I was promised that they will email me my receipt and it never arrived.

I called 3 times and sent out two emails until 4 days later a manager called me back and she was able to get the receipt mailed to me.

Unless you are under the age of 18 and don't mind sleeping on couches I wouldn't recommend staying here.
