My only complaint about Yotel would be the size of the room. I felt like I was staying in an airplane cabin. Aside from the room size everything was great. Very modern and futuristic so if you're not into that you shouldnt stay here. My biggest concern is always room cleanliness followed by customer service. Both get an A+. If room size isn't an issue for you, definitely stay here.

Great hotel with excellent staff.
Room was perfect for me.
Modern, simple, clean.
Room doors could be more sound proof or if you're lucky to just have more courteous neighbours.
Purple lighting in the room was so nice, it was soft and just perfect!
Also discovered the most amazing thing, heated towel rack! Loved it!!
Their soap/shampoo also smelled soo great!!
Will definately stay here again.

I got a really great rate of $99 per night plus tax, $117. So the price was fantastic compared to lots of other hotels I looked at. Also the reviews on trip advice are great.

It's location is 2 blocks for the subway and 3 blocks from Times Square

The bed was very comfy. It first works as a couch bed then you can turn it into a bed.

If you are shy about going to the bathroom with the person you may be sharing the room with, you might want to rethink this room. There is not a wall between the two rooms. It's just a glass wall, that is actually the shower and then also a curtain. The design is nice but it lacks a little privacy. They also do not supply conditioner for your hair. There is not a coffee maker in the room but there is free coffee/tea just down the hall on each floor.

Room Tip: WE STAYED IN THE BASIC ROOM. It's just the right size. It's all white and futuristic feeli...

I traveled to NYC with my boyfriend to celebrate our birthdays and to give him the NYC experience (he'd never been). We took the train to Penn Station and walked to short distance to the hotel. We were received with a friendly demeanor by the staff, quickly checked in (the self check in can be confusing at first -- read the directions), and went up to our room. It was VERY small, but we knew that before we got there, so it wasn't problematic. It was well organized, very clean, and gave a great view of the city. The staff was helpful when we asked for restaurant suggestions, and the facilities are beautiful. I'd love to go back in the summer as to take advantage of their outdoor patio. Didn't try the food, but the coffee was very good! Excellent stay, friendly staff, close to everything, exceeded my expectations for the price and location. Really spectacular. A very good choice for us.

Room Tip: The Premium room we stayed in was as small as they say, though well organized and comfortable. Howev...

The place is very modern, almost like science fiction. If you can negotiate computers, then you'll be fine. If not, then they will willingly assist you through the process. The process is similar to using the self service kiosk in airports. The appearance of the hotel is stark, but nice.

Room Tip: Higher floors, of course, have a better view.

This is a clean, sleek, and hip place to stay in New York. The cabins never leave you feeling claustrophobic like many NY hotels. Yotel has a great central location in midtown, and is near the Broadway subway lines, making traveling up and down the isle nice and easy.

Room Tip: Go up high and south for a great view of lower Manhattan
