“Great place for seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

I really love chelsea market for the environment. There are a lot of amazing little stores and restaurants. This is definitely the first place that will come into my mind when I think about eating lobsters. You get to choose the lobster you want and they will cook it for you freshly in their kitchen.

“Loads of fun and Great Seafood Galore!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

We had an amazing time at this restaurant from the minute we walked in. We spent at least 2 hours here just grazing from station to station. We stopped at the Cull & Pistol Oyster bar, got a Dale's Pale Ale and enjoyed oysters from all around the US. Then we tried the seafood chower bar. I am lactose intolerant so it was awesome that they had some tomato based options and the spicy shrimp was to die for. We topped it off by selecting our lobster and sitting outside in Chelsea Market to enjoy it. Lots of fun...definately a unique and top of the line NYC experience.

“Fresh Delicious Seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

My husband and I had lunch at The Lobster Place recently. The seafood was fresh and tasty. We especially enjoyed the crab cake sandwich on an english muffin. It was full of crab meat and not much filler. The accompanying sauce on the bun was flavorful. The sushi was also very fresh as we watched it being prepared in front of us. I would like to go back and try some of the other items they offer. The cooked lobsters looked yummy, but the station was too busy and we could not wait.

“Wonderful sushi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013 via mobile

Recently stopped in and couldn't resist grabbing a seat at the sushi bar. The staff is very friendly and the sushi is amazing. The Otoro, Hamachi, and Hotate were wonderful. Very fresh, melt in your mouth goodness. Add a Sapporo and it is heaven! The establishment sells fresh fish and other dining options as well which were being enjoyed by all it seems. It is well worth a stop if you are at Chelsea Market. We went back the next day.

“Great taste, low price!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

In Chelsea market (which is an experience by itself...many cute shops and bakeries in an industrial look (former Oreo manufacturer)) you will find Lobster Place. We had brunch here with 2 persons for only $ 35. We had some really great sushi (very fresh!) and seafood/noodle salad. Our neighbours had a freshly cooked lobster which also looked amazing. Go there in time to have a seat or eat somewhere in Chelsea market or at High Lane Park! It's a really fresh and healthy alternative for all the burgers :)
