Description: Lallisse is one of the select wine bars in NYC, a haven for real wines, naturally made without cosmetics or chemistry, sprung from the vineyards and ancient cultures of the Mediterranean. It's a place to enjoy simple, soulful and sustainable Mediterranean food and talk for hours over organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines. Lallisse offers 100 types of wines - approximately 40 by the glass options. Lallisse's unique selection features wines from France, Italy, Spain and the Fertile Crescent - Eastern and Western Anatolia (Turkey), Greece, Israel and Lebanon. After spending extensive hours of wine tasting and going through hundreds and hundreds of bottles we created a list consisting of artisan wines produced by old and historic estates of the Mediterranean run by small organic producers. It's simply the stuff the locals drink! In the spirit of friendship and love for the life, food and wines of the Mediterranean, we happily invite you to do the same.

“Good Brunch Option”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2014

When Penelope's had a two hour wait, we ended up at Lallisse and were very satisfied. Most people in our large party ordered egg dishes and everybody was happy--except for the person who had a kale salad that was sandy! On the whole, this is a good brunch option.

“Good value organic food in pleasant surroundings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2014

Quiet restaurant on Madison serving organic food in Mediterranean style, with small but interesting wine list. Quiet, with not many diners on a Saturday night but deserves to be more popular.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2014

Excellent food in a great location with attentive staff and good draft beer, as well as a good wine menu . I had the salmon with spinach, and my companion has the lobster ravioli. We were both very happy with the meal.

“Great little place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2014

We tried this restaurant because it is attached to our hotel (Ramada Eastside).
This is a very beautifully decorated little place. The service was very quick and professional.
Their lunch menu offers a wide variety of selections and it is all very tasty. It is well presented and delicious. Worth a try if you are in the area for lunch

“A full filling experience ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2014

Found this restaurante with tripadvisor. Though it only got 33 resumes this restaurant was the best of our 7-day stay.

The atmosphere was amazing.
Perhaps that was a result of we chose a Saturday. I don't know. Because it was like us (2 couples) and one other couple there.
The service was perfect.
The food was superb. I had the lobster ravioli. Fantastic.

The price was what surprised me the most. I've been to some expensive restaurants and their food was nothing alike.
Hopefully my resume gets Moore folks over to Lallisse because the food was great. And I can't see why this ain't a restaurant where there's a lot of you folks.

Best experience during my wisit!
