“Nice and cozy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

The restaurant has a small and cozy atmosphere. They also had a live singer, which was a nice touch. The waiters are very pleasant. The food is nice. We enjoyed all the dishes, though the shrimp entree was over-salted .

“Warm welcome and good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

We booked during the afternoon, once we'd decided what type of restaurant we wanted. It was just as well as the place was full all the time we were there. We arrived at 8.00 to be greeted by the owner. He turned out to be quite a character, working the room and charming the clientele all evening. There are non-fish options, but then the fish is so good why bother? The bread rolls were warm and crusty and the fish starters delicious. The house speciality is a brilliant idea, offering two half portions of different fish as a single main. Service was attentive but not rushed. Three courses plus coffee was a leisurely two and a half hours - quite a European dining experience compared to many American restaurants. Apparently there is live latin, blues and jazz music on Mon - Wed evenings and Sunday brunch. This is well worth a visit, even in this area with so many good restaurants.

“Great fish duets!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

You have the option of choosing two types of fish. They're two half servings so you get to experience two dishes in one. It's a very good idea and rare in NYC. The restaurant was empty when we arrived but filled up as we left.

“Great for a Seafood Dinner or Brunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

We had eaten here about two years ago and had a great dinner. They have a great deal where you can make an entree of two half orders of fish. If you and your guest are interested in trying several types of fish, this is a great way to go.

Our most recent meal a Le Pescadeux was for brunch. We had the fish sandwich and eggs benedict on brisket. Both were excellent. The service was great. If you are looking for a nice meal in SoHo, Le Pescadeux is recommended.
