Had a quick 3 night stay at ROW, it was pleasant from start to end. Al ot of reviews mention long check in times, we didn't encounter that, The lift services were fast and efficient. We had the room made over daily, it was clean and tidy and we felt very safe. We didn't eat or drink at the hotel, as we were so close to other restaurants we had on out list to visit. The location for ROW was ideal. A stones throw from Times Square and seconds from the nearest subway entrance. Although no kettle and tea facilities (which is a very UK hotel expectation anyway and not common place in the US) the hotel do offer hot water and ice machines on various floors. We had a brilliant stay, able to leave the bags for hours after checking out and easy collection later. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, but this was the first time since the recent remodeling. My wife, 20 year old son and I, stayed stayed for 5 nights, and had a very pleasant experience. The staff was wonderfull, the lobby and Club M was really cool and we enjoyed the cool, comfortable place to hang out. One night there was even a great live band! The food court was very good and convenient, also! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will definatly consider staying again!

We loved this hotel. It is very modern and busy. THe rooms are small but they serve the purpose of sleep, shower and getting ready to go out. This was the only time we spent in the room. There are broadway shows, bars, restaurants, Starbucks and this awesome little pizza place all in the area. Yes it is noisy but its NYC..lol Subway system on the corner and 2 minutes from Time Square and every Broadway show you can possibly want to see. Our ONLY complaint and I hope management is reading this as I think this important that they know this....We were told that we could store our luggage till we needed to leave for the airport. The concierge was very helpful and gave us good tips about when to leave and why ( be warned many cabs will NOT take you to the airport...it took the doorman about 15 mins to get us a cab that would take us). We went to the luggage storage desk to store 2 bags. We were "told" not advised by the 2 gentlemen working that "it is customary to tip and we wont be here later when you get back..." We have both worked in the service industry for over 20 years..not anymore but we still understand and remember how important gratuities are in this industry. We were insulted that we were asked to tip and the reason being that they would not be there later....We felt we were told because we were tourists and "did not know any better." Just to clarify we are both in our 30's and have careers outside of serving in the past. This was insulting and I actually was annoyed that my sister tipped them...We want to make management aware as this was a horrible end to a great stay at this hotel. If tipping is that important to staff then maybe post a sign on the desk or they split tips based on the day not per guest. To be told to tip and why made us feel obligated ( well not me..as I thought it was rude and inappropriate) at my previous serving job we would be terminated for encouraging a guest to tip or making the remark " I wont be here later..." Other then this it was a nice place to stay and we were happy with everything else including the area.

Room Tip: It is in a busy area so you will hear cabs honking, etc.

The hotel is situated in a wonderful location seconds away from time square. The give us definitely modern and tailored towards young adults ready to have a good time without blowing the bank. The only downside is the lobby can get crazy congested during peak hours. I would definitely stay here again. No complaints about the rooms.

I've stayed at the Row hotel several times, and I'm glad to see they are managing check-in more efficiently than in the past. The rooms are just right for business travel and you are in a fun section of town. I do recommend booking the higher floors if a little city noise makes sleep difficult for you.

Access to all of the restaurants from right within the hotel was a great idea.

We had a great stay at The Row. Rachel at check in was particularly friendly and welcoming. Fantastic location, very close to all the action of Times Square / Broadway. I will warn travellers though our room was super super small, to the point when we put down our luggage there was barely any room to walk at all. We had to jump over the bed to get to the bathroom haha. But honestly this didn't affect our stay, because when travelling as a couple you are only really in the room to sleep after a long incredible day of seeing all that NYC has to offer. Lots of options to eat nearby! I will say though I had a friend come and visit me and he was waiting in the lobby for us to come down the elevator and he was "moved along" also one time I forgot something in the room so left my husband in the lobby whilst I went back up to get it and he was also "moved along" Good for security I guess, but it did ruffle my friend and my husbands feathers as they had every right to be there. Over all my advice is - if you are travelling as a couple or with friends and just looking for an affordable room in a great location to rest your head at night, the ROW is perfect!
