I can't say enough about what lovely people Peggy and Lloyd are and how much I appreciate what they do for their home and their community. There's no getting around it, Harlem had a certain poor reputation. But much is changing. New developments abound. This residence is gorgeous lovingly restored old brownstone mansions, in the hands of caring, community minded artistic people. We were two sisters and two friends who shared the top floor apartment for five days. Two bedrooms and a kitchen. Clean as a whistle. Gracious assistance from Lloyd with luggage might be available for all those stairs! Local restaurants, such as the legendary Sylvia's are a five minute walk. We found a manicure and massage shop
that we went back to twice, it was so fantastic. I would love to keep this as my secret wonderful place in NYC! Will most definitely visit again.
