Description: The Cangiano's embrace family tradition in the food business that dates back to 1919, when grandma Cangiano opened her first Salumeria, stocked with the freshest Italian products. Tre Otto was opened in 2009 by Louis and Lauren Cangiano, the 4th generation of Cangiano's providing New York with authentic Italian food prepared from family recipes. The restaurant offers a casual inspired lunch menu as well as an elegant dinner menu that reflects the best traditions of Sicilian food. In the twenty plus years that Louis and Lauren have lived in the Carnegie Hill area, they have always searched for a neighborhood Italian restaurant that felt warm and welcoming - an extension of their own home - where the food was superb and where the atmosphere was magical. They believe that you will find this at Tre Otto.

“Celebrating a birthday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Our daughter picked this little gem on the upper west side for her 21st birthday. A surprisingly good meal from a small little bistro. We ordered a margherita pizza, caponata and a stuffed artichoke. They were very good starters. The linguine with clams was a rave from the members of our party. The pappardelle with duck confit was delicious. Other entrees were the chicken and the ravioli and they, too, were, rated very good.

“MEDICAL CENTER LUNCH ATTRACTION”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

This restaurant draws a crowd from a prominent upper east side medical center. Service is appropriately brisk for those in a hurry. The food is well prepared and portion size is generous.

“Intimate setting, great food and good prices!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Four of us went here for New's Year's Eve. The food was fabulous. I had gnocchi and tiramisu, both were amazing. Although some of the tables are close together, it still feels private. Seriously, order the tiramisu ! We were really pleased with the value for the money at Tre Otto!

“Always Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This cozy restaurant has become a respite for us. After my husband's treatments for cancer at Mt.Siani , we would always treat ourselves to lunch at this sweet place. It turns out the owners are from our hometown of Staten Island! Today we enjoyed a late lunch with good friends at Tre Otto after a visit to a local museum. We started with the Arugula Salad, served with green apple and shaved cheese, a delight. Our pasta dishes were wonderful, not overwhelming but just right.
The pesto was wonderful, and our friends had ravioli, chicken roasted, which they loved. Desserts were splendid, tiramisu was rich and delicious. We highly recommend Tre Otto.

excellent little Italian restaurant. although a little cramped. Pasta was excellent, wine menu a bit limited but quite good. Service was as attentive as we wanted.
