Stayed here 4 nights in late May - part business, part pleasure. Location is great, only a few blocks in any direction to Grand Central, Metro stops, and Times Square.
Rooms are nice and typical sizes for this part of Manhattan. Our room was on the back side of the hotel, which is very quiet - except for the evening when a private event in the courtyard below reverberated up the sides of the surrounding properties and made it hard to even talk in our room - with the windows closed! Front Desk staff was very understanding and worked with the event person to lower the volume to a much more acceptable level.
Plenty of nearby choices for breakfast (including perennial favorite, the Red Flame Diner) and lunch.
A special "thanks" to the bellman, who really made a special effort to get us a cab on a Sunday afternoon when surrounding streets were blocked for a parade.
