My wife and I stayed at The Setai in September 2012 after a long flight from Honolulu. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating. The suite was spacious, clean, contemporary, and quite new. The bed was large, firm and comfortable. The price for the suite was reasonable compared to the other 5 and 4 star hotels in NYC. The bath room large and clean with a good shower spray of water. The restaurant food at lunch was good. The bellmen escorted us a block away to his favorite steak house for dinner and it was excellent! We had a nice view of the ESB from our suite, and had the use of the house Maserati to the Met. A very cool amenity!
We would definitely stay at The Setai on a return to NYC.
