What can I say? The best hotel experience ever! The staff is so friendly and go out of their way to assist. My room was just amazing-thanks to Matt and Manuela at the front desk! Nicely decorated with great views of the Empire State Building and comfy bed. My Personal Assistants, Eugenia and Narissa, were so accomodating and thoughtful. Also really enjoyed the lobby bar. Great drinks and food and loved the vibe there. I was entertaining clients one evening in the bar and they were very impressed! Jeff and the female bartenders were friendly and accomodating despite being very busy. I'm usually ready to go home after a few nights stay in a hotel. This time, I didn't want to leave! I will return!!

i have traveled to NYC over a dozen times each year since 06". i have frequented the best....the Ritz, The Carlisle, The Mark, and Four Seasons. This year i fell in love with the Setai on 5th Avenue. by far the best experience i've ever had in a NYC hotel.Spectacular rooms, unbeleivable staff, and a bar with the best jazz in the city every night. ask for Matt at checkin or Brian the front end manager who will kill you with impeccable service........

What an outstanding hotel! Rooms are spacious and gorgeous, the staff is top notch - the best I've encountered in NYC. The only quibble I had was the portion size to price ratio at Ai Fiori. While the food was outstanding, the appetizers were all of two bites and the entrees three. Leaving still hungry after a $200 bill is unacceptable. Other than that, I'm guessing this one of the best values in the city.
