What can I say ? Great hotel in a fantastic location - 2 mins walk from Times Square.
Service excellent , rooms luxurious & very well appointed. Opted for an upgraded room to make the visit with my husband Even
more special .Superb quality of furnishings, service, check-in, concierge etc.
Had a floor high up which was great for views.
Enjoyed every minute and will definitely come back.

I've stayed in this hotel for couple of times. It has a great location, charming atmosphere for any season throughout the year. Staff of the hotel is very helpful always willing to assist. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I truly recommend this hotel for families, business travellers or young couples.

Room Tip: Higher floors are better, not so noisy.

This hotel is just off Times Square but no more than a short walk. In fact I walked everywhere that I wanted to get to - Grand Central, Rockerfeller, MOMA etc.
The rooms are clean with particularly comfortable beds. The staff are friendly and helpful although I didn't need much help during my short stay.
There are many bars and restaurants close by and you are in the heart of Broadway theatre-land. A ShakeShack right on the corner of the block was an added bonus!!

Room Tip: There can be noise coming up from the street so go high or ask for a room looking out the back

Probably the worst Ihg hotel I have stayed in. It pays no attention to the mbassador programme, has no club room or business centre and is grossly overpriced, even considering its central location. The only saving grace is the quality of service which is equal to the best.

Room Tip: Don't go

I stayed there Dec.2-6, 2014.
All of the personnel were kind & helpful, however 3 stand out--Thanya & Carolyn our room attendants on the 12th floor and Charles a bellman at the front entrance. I would certainly stay at this hotel again if I were to stay in that same area of New York City.

Highly recommend this hotel if you want to live close to Times Square. While its not located right in the middle of Times Square, it's only about 5 minutes walk away and very convenient. In fact, it's preferable than staying in Times Square due to traffic gridlock in that area. For the price, it was well worth it. Hotel was very clean, but ask for a higher level floor which gives you a newly renovated bathroom with a rain shower. The rooms are a bit small, but no unexpected in NYC. The higher floors are better so noise from the streets won't disturb you in the evening. The customer service is great. We asked for extra towels and shampoo, and housekeeping came with right away with a cart of needed items for us. Given it was the holidays, it would have been nice if there were more decorations in the lobby which I would have expected to be more grand given it's a Intercontinental.

It's a nice hotel in the crowded Times Square area. It would be great if you are fancy a Broadway show like The Phantom of Opera because the theatre is just right across the street within 1 min. Comparing to the outdated Sheraton Times Square, InterCon really out-stood by its renovated facilities and rooms. The room is spacious and the amenities are with standard. The only con that I can come out is the overpriced drinking water. But it's probably the custom in US hotels, you have to pay almost 10 bucks for a bottle of water. Other than that the front desk, the bell service and the concierge are doing great job. Recommend to stay.
