The hotel is part of a small London chain and it shows; the staff are superbly trained and engage the guest rather than parrot,"have a nice day". The rooms are elegant and comfortable. My only criticism was the room service menu - it could be more extensive. I will stay there agin.

We stayed at the Crosby Street Hotel for the last two nights of our honeymoon.

We arrived early and were told our room would be ready at 2pm which we were expecting so we went to explore the area.

We arrived back at 2pm but our room still wasn't ready, so we had a drink in the bar. Slightly disappointed that the drink wasn't FOC but in any case it wasn't long until we were up in our room.

I love the style of this hotel, and after visiting The Soho, The Covent Garden and The Charlotte Street hotels in London, I was not disappointed with the fresh, sleek décor of the hotel's communal areas, however our room had a bright green feature wall which was a shame as I adored all the other room designs I'd seen on the site.

The room itself was very luxurious. The bed was so comfy and came with a beautiful lavender pillow spray. The windows are very grand and I enjoyed sitting in the window seat watching Soho go by below.

We were very grateful to be welcomed moments after arriving in our room with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a note congratulating us on our wedding - a very special touch.

The location of this hotel is amazing! We had stayed in Times Square for 3 nights prior but much preferred the cool, urban feel of this location with the best shops on the doorstep!

We visited the bar again after returning late evening from a charity gala and, even though the kitchen was just shutting, because we were guests they kept it open to serve us. We had the sliders and flat bread which were amazing!!

All in all this is a 5 star hotel, a very cool one at that! The staff are very friendly and professional but it is what you'd expect for the price.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone!

We stayed for a quick Saturday night visit. The hotel is in a wonderful location, close to great shops and restaurants. Upon arrival the valet secured us a free parking spot right on the street. The management is friendly and efficient. The decor of the hotel is artsy but cozy and elegant at once. There is a dog motif throughout the hotel and I was told that smaller dogs were allowed there though exceptions had been made for larger ones on occasion. (This is important to those who travel with pets!) Our room was lovely and spacious and overlooked the street with a huge window. They have the most amazing showers! The water pressure is like an amazing massage-don't want to get out! When we entered our room the valet asked if we would like a tray of coffee or tea. He promptly sent up a tray and felt bad that he forgot the cookies we requested so he sent those up without charge. The beds are extremely comfortable. THey had a small but nice gym.I was sorry I wasn't staying longer. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone. The staff is courteous, never snooty and very welcoming.

Stayed in a deluxe upper floor room for a week over Christmas period. The room was outstanding... bigger than other big cities like London/Paris etc for the price (about $700) with a large bathroom. The decor is gorgeous (someone said its like Paul Smith did it and they are spot on), and the full length warehouse style windows are great for just sitting in front of. Bathroom is nice with good shower (no bath in deluxe room) and a heated towel rail (so you can actually do a bit of laundry if you like rather than send everything out).

As others have said the location is great - walking distance to everything in Soho, Noho, East Village, and Greenwich (and even Little Italy if thats your thing...). So right in the middle of some great shopping. Not many great places around to eat, but theres always subway and taxis... (btw I echoe how bad Balthazar down the road is... good burgers and pulled pork sandwiches up the road north at Back Forty West for lunch though).

Only bad thing about Crosby St is the restaurant and the food - we ate breakfast there most days and were very satisfied. But Christmas lunch was an appalling affair waiting an hour for appetisers and a meal of generally mediocre quality (some things needed to be sent back). Room service one night was also comparably mediocre and both were expensive. So bottom line, if you want a nice meal book outside of the hotel, or plan ahead locally!

Would we stay again... 50/50... rooms and location are awesome, but maybe we would try somewhere up near the park if the restaurant didnt improve.
