“A hidden treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2013

My wife had visited this small corner restaurant on a previous trip and had raved ever since. So this time we visited for brunch with another couple. We went early and stood in line as they only have one 4 top. The bloody Ceasar cocktail was awesome. The eggs Benedict was to die for as was the pulled pork sandwich. I had the egg sandwich served on a delicious croissant served with sliced Brussels sprouts sautéed and sprinkled with sriracha sauce. Very good. The waitstaff is friendly and fun. All in all a great time in an unique setting! We'll be back!

“Excellent Lunch in the Village”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

Stopped in for lunch while shopping. Excellent service, great salad and appetizer. A nice place to rest and watch the local scene at lunch. Check out 3 Lives bookstore 1.5 blocks away after lunch.

“Excellent food in a great New York City setting.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

Small (cozy is a great description) but wonderful restaurant. We had the pork hock and one of the specials of the night, duck. Both excellent.
Drinks, deserts, and service all admirable. Would highly recommend.
Part of the Little Wisco restaurant group. Midwesterners will find a taste of home.

“A rare find, excellent coffee and interesting quality food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

Visited with my adult son. Stumbled on this restaurant while prowling through west village area looking for decent brunch place which could also accommodate a vegan. Vegan Boy's avocado breakfast was excellent, and so was mine. Nice boho decor. The staff were very friendly and genuine, and there appeared to be a serious chef in the open kitchen. Best of all, the coffee was extremely good - a rare find for a couple of picky Australian coffee tragics! We returned on the following weekend, but unfortunately the entire place was chockers, and there are no outside tables or take-out coffees. Definitely worth a visit if you are in lower manhattan.

“Tons of charm and great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

This restaurant is very small, but very cozy.
Service is super friendly. We had to wait an hour for a table, but the nice hostess gave us a phone call when it was ready (while we were having drinks at a bar nearby).

It's mostly French-American cuisine, and I liked it a lot (I had great duck).

This restaurant is a perfect choice for a romantic dinner.
