“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

We stayed at the Andaz Wall Steet at both the beginning and the end of our recent trip to the US. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The rooms in particular are very large and well appointed. We also loved the location as it was within walking distance of most places we wanted to visit but also good access to the subway for getting anywhere else easily. All of the staff were very welcoming and really went out of their way to accommodate all of our requests. The free minibar drinks and snacks are a nice touch and the bar and restaurant are well worth a visit. We usually stay in midtown when visiting New York but we will definitely return to the Andaz Wall Street when we next visit New York City.

A much needed weekend getaway to NYC in this lovely hotel. My second time here and the very nice guy at check in upgraded us to a premium room with a gangster shower and bathtub, lots of space and huge desk, and pretty quiet area on 17th floor. Free snacks were nice. Super modern decor and ambiance. Staff were generally great except unhelpful when we could not get a taxi outside the hotel if our lives depended on it. We ended up walking all the way to the Millennium Hilton where the doorman there got a taxi for us. I suspect getting a taxi on Wall Street is a problem particularly on weekends as there aren't a lot of big hotels in the area and the streets are pretty deserted. Wall Street subway station served by the 2 and 3 trains is really close by and it's a short ride uptown. Did not eat in the hotel restaurant so can't comment on that. Lots of little breakfast places and Starbucks around the area too. Bank of America ATM and a Duane Reade are right across the street. I'd stay again next time I'm in NYC.

I never stay downtown, but needed to for convenience sake this week. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are huge, the beds are really comfortable and the staff are nice. My only complaint is the lights in the bathroom aren't bright enough, esp to put on make up.

This is the third time I have stayed here and really enjoy it. We stayed here in April 2013 and again in Nov 2013 for the NYM. I actually think its a great location because all the subways are close to pretty much all of Manhattan - just in Wall St. Its clean, modern and the free WiFi and free complimentary soft drinks in the bar fridge is a nice touch too. The rain shower is nice, especially after a 26 mile run. It is a bit quieter at night however its not far from the Bull, Staten Island Ferry, Brooklyn Bridge or Tribeca where there is a WholeFoods and some decent coffee shops plus GroundZero is close. While its great to explore the busier parts on NY its nice to come back to a quieter hotel and area.

This hotel is a gem and was perfect for our break in the Big Apple. The location was bang on as the subway station is only a stones throw from the hotel. Why would anyone want to stop further uptown when you've got hotels like this in a less crowded but very accessible area of this great city. A cracker!

Arrived about 3:30 pm, checking in was fast and the staff were very nice. The room was very big, clean and very modern. The bathroom was also big a great walk in shower black and white tiles also very modern. Free soft drinks in the mini bar I.E water, soda water, orange juice, coke + chocolate bars and crisps also I left a note to say I'm diabetic and they left the mini bar full of diet drinks e.t.c. Don't be put off with this hotel being in downtown Wall Street it's nice and quiet and only a $ 2:50 cents but ride ( you see more on the bus than the tube ) as far as Central Park, bus stop virtually outside. All in all a great hotel to stay in. Well done Andaz.

A nice hotel with firendly staff. A concept that really works and not justa concept. We have stayed both in London and New York and both were excellent. A can recommend Wall Street since the location close to the subway makes it an excellent choice for Manhattan travel.
