“A must!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

Grabbed a wafel on way into the park. Just a simple one: maple syrup and fresh strawberries on top. Oh, and lotsa powdered sugar!!!!! Sat on a bench, watched people go by, and cried when wafel was gone. Coffee is good, too, and comes with a delish de spekuloos cookie! I'd go back to NYC just for these treats! We didn't have to wait long in line; wafels are made before your eyes. Guys working the truck were funny and kind!

“Waffles”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

Loved these waffles. Plenty of toppings but I just wanted a plain waffle and it was delicious. Slightly sweet but not sugary. Had two ore while I was in town.

“Definitely eat these!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

Only in NYC can you get a decadent "breakfast" like this. Set the tone for the rest of the day.,...even if it did take the rest of the day to walk off the waffles:)

“Only if you don't know the real thing...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

I went there because, after leaving Belgium, I immediately started missing their delicious gaufres de Liège (Liège Waffles). When I got in front of the truck, I should have been put off by a couple of things: 1. the absence of any scent: in Belgium, when you approach a place where they cook Liège Waffles properly, you can smell them from a mile away; 2. All that silly fuss about "dinges" (toppings): Liège Waffles are supposed to be eaten plain, without any topping (on the other hand, Brussels waffles, whose dough is completely different - much lighter - are usually consumed with toppings).
Well, such is my addiction that I decided to try them anyway. A complete waste of time, money and calories, from my point of view. But then, if you've never tried the real thing, i suppose you might find them ok...
