one of my best experiences:
cheap with high quality beds furnitures restroom everything! and the chance to use the kitchen corner in the intelligent residence formula.
unlimited complimentary breakfast and constant caring of me as a guest
even when I left the key in the room ... twice!! jelag side effects, you know...
finally a happy solution after years of sad and dusty best western hotels...

My sister and I came to NYC to take in all the beautiful Christmas decorations and see the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular Show and enjoy this beautiful city at Christmastime. I did a lot of research for a hotel that would be easy to walk to your destination or convenient to take subway or catch a cab and had good reviews from people who had stayed there. Staybridge SuitesTimes Square seemed to be the best place and being an IHG Rewards Club member was an added bonus because I was able to use reward points for 1 night. We stayed on the 31st Floor and could see the Hudson River from our room. The room was clean and fresh and had kitchenette with nice, new, clean utensils and full-size fridge. Breakfast was good and the socials on 3 evenings during the week were an added feature. All Staff always friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

The location, cost and comfort were excellent. The rooms are comfortable. The bathroom shower was on the small side but the value made up for it. The rooms are clean and we slept very well. The complimentary breakfasts were an added bonus. We took advantage of the complementary happy hour with hot snacks and drinks and were pleasantly surprised to see such a nice spread of food. The hotel staff made our visit very pleasant. Jaime always greeted us with a smile and offered to help in any way possible. He was one step ahead checking to see if we needed cab services or directions. One thing they can work on are the slow slow elevators. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will make future reservations here.

We had a great experience at Staybridge Suites. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was perfect for our family of four and nicely priced, which is a rare find in NYC. The room size was very nice, and it was clean, modern looking and quiet, with an efficient layout and nice clean kitchen. It even had a fridge with a working ice maker! This allows you to bring food and have a relaxing, inexpensive meal and drinks in the room if you wish. They did a very nice job with the hot breakfast, which was also included. They were accommodating and efficient with holding the luggage before check-in time as well as after checking-out if you choose. We found Staybridge to be nicer and a better value than some of the neighboring hotels in this area of NYC.

The stay was very good! Employees very friendly and always willing to help guests. Tuesday thru Thursdays are happy hour with really good food and it's FREE! Gotta give a shout out to the staff who kept on top of all of the caos! Carina, one of the servers, always said hello to us! Very nice! The general manager, Seenkei Chiew is very attentive to detail. Even after a day of sightseeing, he was still there! On check out day, there was a mix up on the parking charges and to make things right, Lisa at the front desk took charge and made things right... Thank you! The only items really to mention, on the negative side: elevators slow and showers are really small! Other than those 2 small things... We will definitely be back at Starybridge!

My husband and I had our first visit to NY in July 2011 and it was an amazing experience. Even better was the great accommodation we had at the Staybridge Suites Times Square. It was soooo hot in NY when we arrived - around 40 degrees Celsius - and it was so refreshing to enter the lobby of our hotel that was air-conditioned and perfect to cool us down before heading up to our room. We were escorted to our room which was on one of the upper levels(can't quite remember floor number as it was a cpl of years ago) and were pleased with the size of the room - considering it was New York and we knew that many hotel have small rooms. We had a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. Cutlery, plates and pans if we wished to cook something on the stovetop. It was great - especially as we were staying for 10 nights. We had 2 Queen beds and a lovely bathroom with great sized shower. Hubby is 6ft4" and it was fine for him. One of the great things that we really appreciated was the free - yes you do read correctly - FREE breakfast that we were able to enjoy every morning before heading out. It was buffet and it was awesome - bagels, toast, eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, juice & muffins! Amazing - we could eat well to start the day and it would keep us going into the early afternoon. They also had cocktail hours on certain nights where guests could enjoy complimentary beer & wine - awesome if you wanted to relax with a drink before heading out to dinner. The location was perfect for us - having never been to NY before, we were central to everything. A 5 min walk to Times Square and everything you needed right on your doorstep. There was a great bar called Heartland Brewery which was a 2 min walk from the hotel where we had a few meals and drinks - very affordable and great food. We could shop up a storm and then take all the bags back to our room for a quick rest and bite to eat before heading out again. Washing machines and dryers were available for laundry which was fantastic for us due to the length of our stay. They also had computers just off the lobby for guests to use which was also complimentary. I can't really say anything negative about this hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever to visit New York City again.

There is always that nagging worry that you might end up picking a 'loser' hotel. So, with some trepidation, I made the reservations and hoped for the best.
What a sweet experience we had from the minute we arrived to the morning we left. Everyone, from the front desk to the maintenance staff were friendly, courteous and clearly there to serve their guests.
We were warmly greeted by Catherine at the front desk, our room was waiting for us and this new adventure was off to a great start. Shout out to Dan who helped print out my boarding passes for the trip home, to Nathan, a concierge, who was knowledgable and so helpful with reservations and Anna, who manages the food and beverage services that are complimentary for guests (breakfast daily as well as cocktail socials during the week). You all made us feel welcome and your great service was much appreciated.
Our room was on the 30th floor and I had read other reviews that talked about the slow elevator service. That wasn't a problem we encountered. We even met friendly people in the elevators so I imagine the personality of this hotel is so comfortable, it attracts like-kind guests.
I marveled at the design of our room. It was small but, I swear, it was designed by a genius. In that New York small space, we had a full refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher, dishes, pots & pans, etc., a good bed, a great shower ~ efficient, pristine and attractive.
This isn't a 'fancy' hotel. I didn't want or need to be in a hotel for bragging rights back home. Instead, I went for good price, good location which I received and then was gifted with a valuable intangible which was emotionally intelligent employees who bring their personalities with them when they show up at work. I plan to have this be my 'go to' hotel.
