We stayed for a week on our first visit to NYC. This hotel had been recommended to us so we did not hesitate to book.
We found the location pretty good and close to Times Square. Dont worry about the bus depot over the road or the parole board next door - we felt completely safe, day and night.
The complimentary reakfast had a good choice, but was very busy..we took out breakfast back to the room sometimes.
After being in the US for 4 weeks, my husband and I both agreed, this hotel had the best bed and the biggest.
We stayed on the 22nd floor and had a good view of the Empire State Building.
The only downside was the $15 bourbon my husband purchased from the bar..glad I didnt want one..could of bought a bottle up the road for that price - it was his 1st and last drink there.
