We gave this Kimpton hotel a chance simply because it was part of a bulk discount booking site. We used to always stay at a local Kimpton when we lived on the west coast, even hosting our wedding party there, so we are no stranger to the brand. However, my husband and I come into the city frequently to have dinner and see a show. With so many hotels competing against each other, we have no brand loyalty. You can always score a high-end hotel for a relative New York bargain.
The location of Eventi was perfect for walking to our show, or any Broadway show for that matter.
The hotel room was a standout. Valet parking is $50, which is just four or five dollars more than a nearby self-park.
We booked a king deluxe room which was quite spacious, with dramatic floor to ceiling windows, a plush bed, and comfortable pillows. The bathroom was large, clean and modern. The room felt very spacious and was definitely some place I could comfortably stay for several days.
Our time at Eventi was very tranquil, which is appreciated when we want to escape the mania of the city.
Eventi has again inspired brand loyalty and is a NYC discovery that has stopped us from just jumping from hotel to hotel. We are already set to book a return weekend to Eventi.
