Our second stay in this clean, friendly, and hospitable hotel . The staff is so helpful, room quiet. What a wonderful stay! Become a loyalty member and get a credit in the mini-bar.Everything we asked for was brought quickly and with a smile.

The hotel was in a great location right in the middle of things. A group of us stayed overnight, the rooms were clean and roomy for the city. The gentlemen at the front desk helped us with finding a club and other staff members were just as helpful getting cabs and so on. Loved staying here although I didn't like the check in, all 3 rooms weren't ready and the women that checked us in seemed as though I was a bother asking when the other would be ready she informed me that she would have keys brought up in 15 minutes but no show. We were upset because we wanted to drop our bags off and go, not sit around.....we went down to the lobby after 30 minutes and still no rooms. We came back at almost 9:30 she saw me and wasn't doing anything but ignored me while the other man was helping someone....finally she give me the keys, she could have handed them to me. I believe her name is Brenda, maybe she should learn from the others how to treat all people. A special thanks to the other gentleman he was a sweetheart and very kind. The hotel overall is great. I would have rated the service as excellent but due to Brenda I have to say average.

The room was very clean and a nice comfortable bed. The shower was large with a choice between a rain shower or traditonal shower. Our room was an adverage size for NY City on a corner of the 17th floor with view of the Empire State building on one side and the World Trade Center on the other.

My only minor complaints was we traveled with our pet and this chain advertises it is very pet friendly. So we asked the lady at the lady at the desk if there was any parks we could take our pet to nearby. She did not know the answer. Then someone suggested the Highline. She looked it up and then sent us there. Only to find out they dont allow pets on the highline. They are a pet friendly hotel in that they accept pets and as you check in or walk through the lobby many of the staff if not busy stops and say Hi to your pet. But they never offered treats, or had any idea of anything or place in the area that maybe pet friendly.

Also tried to book a package on Kimptons website and called the hotel directly only to be told the packages was sold out. Also they don't match prices from other travel sites that book their rooms for less. Found room cheaper on almost everyother travel site than Kimpton hotels site. So shop around when booking with Kimpton.

Room Tip: Ask if the room has a view. My guess is lower floors will not, higher rooms yes. Corner rooms best.

I have always liked staying at Kiimpton Hotels and the Eventi is no exception. The staff greet you warmly. Rooms are well appointed and very clean. It's always lovely with the staff welcome you back by name when you re-appear in the lobby. And with easy access for travelers to Penn Station this is definitely a plus for business travelers. Would definitely recommend.

We were at the tail end of a 2 week stay on the east coast, the final night being at the Eventi where our college kids were meeting us and then heading out to different parts of the world. I have always had a good experience at the Kimpton Hotels, so look at them before looking elsewhere. Let me say that the Eventi was welcoming from the get-go. The four of us showed up with too many pieces of luggage, due to the many-facets of this trip. Patrick greeted us at the front desk and was terrific, offering early check-in which allowed us to quickly regroup and head out. As always, the 5:00 cocktail hour is such a nice touch ... and it was. Wonderful sangria and appetizers on the upper floor lounge overlooking the city on a perfect sunny day. The room was well-appointed with comfortable beds and a great shower. I just recommended the Eventi to my friends travelling to NYC. It was just lovely.

Really enjoyed the stay. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the rooms are very well appointed. Overall a very nice hotel and very good value. I have stayed at a few hotels in the surrounding area this year and Eventi is a notch above the rest, although similar in price. Great value and experience. I will be staying here more often for sure
