“Starting to slip a bit?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

I was a huge fan of this place all last year and went at least once of week for their Banh mi. I introduced a lot of friends to the place and we put up with the long lines and the no substitution policy. The past few times the sandwiches seemed to be really slipping a bit. The pork belly was rather skimpy on the pork and not all that flavorful and the Ginger brisket was a glutinous mass of fat. Not all that appealing. They now have five or six stores. Seems to be the same old NY story. The original idea gets spread too thin and with it the quality starts to go out the window. I hope I just hit a few off days, since I loved this place, but I worry they are starting to cut corners on quality now that they have become so well-known.

“Great place to quick lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014 via mobile

We visited in Num Pang few times during our New York trip. I like tasty and spicy food and I got best sanwiches I have ever eat. Best way to eat: take your favourite sandwiches to the bag, buy few bears from 10th 23 str corner shop and go to the pier 62 to enjoy your lunch near by Hudson river.

“Amazing sandwiches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

I cannot get enough of their sandwiches. Fresh bread and ingredients. They offer noodle and rice dishes as well- but don't bother... come for the sandwiches!! Especially the pulled pork. Oh, and don't forget their corn on the cob. AH-mazing.

“TAKE OUT WITH A FLAIR”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Try one of the best sandwich shops around making delightful Vietnamese specialties and salads. They also have soups , beverages and dessert for those who wish that. I usually get the catfish or hoisin meatballs although the brooklyn bangers are great as well. They enhance their creations with local veggies and spices that liven up their fare. The two locations that I use are on east 41 street between lex and 3rd and university and 12th.
Great value and better taste to liven up dull lunch times. They also give you as much siracha sauce to increase the heat and wet naps to clean up.

“Great place for sandwich”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014

My friend says that she has had here the best lunch what she has every eaten. I loved it too, because I never had so yummy fresh sandwiches with their home-made sour limonade. And the place is small but it has an atmosphere!
