“Nolita is awesome !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Visited again this past Sunday with my wife. Was a beautiful sunny day and went in for some shopping. The key here is to get in early .... like at 11:00 or so .. to beat the crowds and to grab good parking. I always park at the garage on Kenmare St right off of Mulberry. $ 20.00 for all day. We walked up and down Prince, E. Houston, Broadway etc. Stopped at the Tory Burch and Michael Kors stores..bought my wife a few things for her birthday and then finished up at Da Nico on Mulberry Street for lunch. Left the area about 3 pm. A perfect day... no hassles driving in or out. Love going to the area when all goes well !

“It is real littel Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

They built a clean areas, it certainly better than Chinese areas. We walked around there and saw a lot od restaurant with specific Italy foods as pizza, maccaroni, spaghetti...and my young brother would like to eat here, so we chose one there. They cooked too much delicious, we ate beefsteak, spaghetti and some cakes they offered free. A pity because we didnot remember the name. We will write after find them.

“Like being in Italy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

This part of the city is very cozy and there are plenty of italian restaurants and italian boys trying to get you into a restaurant. I think they are italian cause they actually behave like italians, very funny.

“Still a must see in New York City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

Yes, Little Italy is not what it used to be. But, it still has some very good restaurants like Il Cortile, Da Nico,Il Palazzo, and Pellegrino's and Italian specialties shops like Di Paolo's and Alleva along Mulberry street. There are also some very good cafes on Mulberry and Grand St. You must experience San Gennaro feast in September. There still is aura about this neighborhood. Enjoy!!

“Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

What a great place to walk around. Every guy outside a restaurant looks like he's mafia, but, very friendly. Brilliant buildings, art work, restaurants, bars and shops. Don't miss this area if you are in town!
