We stayed here June 25 2013 for 5 nights 3 teenagers 2 adults in 2 bed appartment with kitchenette loads of room. 5 mins walk to Times Square, Rockerfeller Center. Then Central Park, 5th Ave .Macys about 15 min walk. Supermarket 10min walk away,Supermarket on street at back of hotel 3mins away, go through water feature at right hand side of hotel turn right supermarket on left down street, you can get dinners in deli there by weight, lovely food also food vendors outside hotel on left lovely hot dogs. You felt quite safe walking everywhere even in Times Square plenty of police there on duty. Hotel okay, maid service every day all utensils plastic except cutlery. Staff very helpful except 1 staff member who was very rude and no help at all, we checked out around 3am on Sunday 30th June and our transport which we had booked didn't turn up at 4am, as it was now nearing 5am and we had to be at airport at 530 I asked to use phone he said he tried no. twice but when I picked up phone outside desk there was nothing.I then asked him what was code to use on my mobile phone and he just told me he didn't know how to use it.All other staff members were very nice and helpful. It seems a very old and dated building but was near everything.Good street market on Saturdays turn right outside hotel onto next street ,lots of smoke from all the cooking there where you can buy cooked food.
