“Popular with Businessmen”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

I only go here when meeting people on business. It has a sterile atmosphere. The food is good, the bar is average. Both are expensive for what you get.

“Great Dining before the Game”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Went to Lugo Caffe recently before a Ranger game at Madison Square Garden. Reservations were easily made online. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were promptly seated. The hostess was gracious and the waiter was professional. The food was very good, I had a great Veal Chop Milanese . Being next to the Garden is a true plus for a fine dinner before the game.

“Great Dining in Midtown Across From Madison Square Garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

The dining atmosphere is very nice and the food is delicious. I especially like the ravioli with fresh ricotta and the sage butter sauce and all of the pizzas are very good. Very attentive service.

“Perfect spot to have dinner near Penn Station”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Every single person we interacted with was delightful and helpful, from the young woman at the coat check to the waitress to the busboys and finally to the manager. These folks know how to make you feel special and appreciated. Table settings very nice, excellent menu, a handful of exciting specials and all executed very well. We were a party of 10, and every dish that arrived was very good. I especially liked the artichoke appetizer...grilled baby artichokes with a nice lemony dip. Only thing to mention, it can get very loud, so come in early and enjoy!

“Well Located Italian Cafe with Warmth”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

Very well located right next to NY Penn Station and MSG, Luggo Cafe is a nice place for Lunch, After Hours and Supper. They have a seperate bar area and lots of space for seating of 2s-4s and then larger tables.

We went without a reservation but on a rainy day, so were lucky in terms of choice of seating in a secluded corner. Very attentive service and food is delicious, though a little on pricey side.
The pizza serving is also quite adequate if not hungry for a full meal.

This is one of the better places one can find in the Penn Station/ MSG vicinity and becomes very busy at Lunch hours as at the ground level of 1 Penn Plaza.
