“Don't miss the Greenmarket”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

In season, there's nothing like the Union Square Greenmarket. Farmers offer a dizzying variety of fruit, vegetables, meats, cheeses, baked goods — even wine. The historic square has been beautifully redesigned.

“Nice Christmas markets”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I've always found Union Square a tad underwhelming. Too much concrete, not enough greenery, but then it is a square and not a park, so fair enough! They had some nice Christmas markets this year, which I'd recommend if you want to get in the spirit of the season.

“Interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

It was great going there on a Wednesday, I believe and seeing all the vendors with their wares on sale. There is also a lot of food vendors with fresh fruit and vegtables.
