“For every opera appreciator”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Anyone who loves opera will regard an evening at the Met as something to treasure. The highest standards of singing, staging and orchestra in a house which guarantees good sight of the stage and great acoustics. If the wallet can stand it then dinner in the house is excellent.

I went to an opera Carmen which was unbelieveable I always like that opera; but to see it at the Met.makes it more special. Also at the Met. they have the Rush tickets
from Monday through Thursday.they $ 20. a seat for a orchestra seats. (you could get that tickets two hours before the opera.by going downstairs & wait a couple hours my friend does it all the time for us; it's really worth it.

“Wish I could afford to go on a regular basis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

There is nothing in the world like attending an opera at the Met. The venue is just gorgeous. The sound is terrific. The best buy is their winter shortened operas. I have seen "The Magic Flute" and "The Barber of Seville" there. The audience is so quiet. You can hear a pin drop. Even the children are well behaved. You can't help but love the extravaganza.

“wonderful experience”

Fantastic building and wonderful Opera. Bought 'cheap' seats but they were great with good view of stage and acoustics wonderful. Found translation/subtitles provided for each seat very useful and enhanced the experience.

“The soul of Manhattan.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

THE MET. This should be on your bucket list. Go, have champagne. Have dinner then get ready for the best night of your life. These people are the best at what they do. Visit the gift shop and enjoy the show. Gorgeous theatre.
